Albany's parking issue is mostly about one thing -- everyone's presumed right to park our cars next to where we are going.
Albany, like most cities, would be a healthier place if people got out of their cars to walk, bike or ride transit. Yet decades of public policy has encouraged people to stay in their cars and to park them at the easiest opportunity.
