NSW: Child, 8, injured on beach

An eight year-old girl is reportedly in a stable condition after injuring herself at
a Sydney beach this afternoon.
The girl, from Jindabyne, was airlifted to hospital after jumping from her father's
back on to the sand at Elouera Beach in Sydney's south about 1.30 pm.
She suffered suspected spinal injuries in the accident, and was taken to Prince of
Wales Hospital for treatment by the Westpac Lifesaver helicopter.
