TROY More than three dozen people are interested in becoming the next superintendent of the Troy City School District, according to those involved in the selection process.
Tuesday was the deadline for potential candidates to send their applications in to James Baldwin, superintendent of Questar III BOCES, who is overseeing the selection process for the Troy school board. Baldwin collected 44 applications.
"We have had a lot of interest in the position," said Baldwin.
He declined to name any of the candidates.
